Mary: How will remaining unchanged make our customers buying more from us? No change in products means no change in sales amount.

Peter: Not really. It depends how well you do yopur promotion. It is your responsibilty, Marketing Manager.

Mary: Come on. I can't think of how to increase 30% with the same old stuff. If we can, we had already done so in the past 10 years.

Peter: Sales didn't went up in the past because we do not spend enough in advertising. It is nothing about our products. If our products are not that good, we died years with that small advertising budget.


Decision 2

Time is limited. Mary need to kick start her new plan as soon as possible to capture more sales before the Mid-Autumn Festival. However, Peter will not accept her proposal.


If you were Mary, what will you do next.

D. Ask Peter his detail plan how he can achieve the 30% growth without expanding into a new market.

E. Send Peter some research data which she had done in her previous ice cream company in order to make Peter understand more about the ice cream business.

F. Explain in details about my ice cream moon cake plan to persuade Peter.
